TALON Series Custom Weedless Grass Jig
Talon Series Custom Jigs were used to win the 2007 Texas Forest Country Championship at Lake Sam Rayburn.
TALON SeriesTM Custom Weedless Grass Jigs lead the industry in quality, durability and heavy cover performance. Developed by professional tournament fishermen, the jig is the perfect solution for penetrating thick grass mats and other heavy cover where big bass hide.
With a custom, proprietary design TALON SeriesTM Custom Weedless Grass Jigs are perfectly balanced to perform upright, whether punching through grass mats or fishing bottom structure. The jig falls with a gliding action, then softly lands upright on the bottom - exactly as a crawfish would. Because of this natural, gliding action, the jig draws vicious strikes.
Designed specifically for heavy tackle applications, a heavy 6/0 Mustad Ultra Point black nickel hook in 1oz and 1-1/4oz models assures solid and secure hooksets. The slick shape easily penetrates heavy cover and sheds debris with a flick of the wrist. A slightly recessed line tie adds to the slick design. A high density weedguard is set at the perfect angle to protect the hook point and reduce hangups. In addition to an improved skirt keeper, each skirt is wire wrapped to keep it securely in place. An improved bait keeper keeps trailers secure.
