TALON Series^TM Original Buzzbaits incorporate premium components, practical design, and a series of unique, productive colors to create the most exceptional buzzbaits on the market today. They start with a super strong 0.051 diameter U.S.A. spring tempered stainless steel wire frame for maximum hookset power, strength and durability. An extra-long design increases bite area, yet does not sacrifice bait balance. Because the heavy wire frame resists bending when setting the hook, pressure is transferred directly to the hook point, resulting in a better hookset with fewer missed fish. The wire shaft is processed to maximize blade rotation, and each custom blade is machined to fit the custom wire shaft for maximum squeal and clattering vibration. Tooling is applied to the rivet, further increasing the squeal factor. Our own custom 5/0 premium heavy wire, long shank, wide gap super slick Nickel Teflon coated hook completes the business end. A flat head enables the bait to plane on the surface easily and crawl over debris without hang ups. And, as with all Talon Custom Baits, our skirts are hand tied and wire wrapped for extra security.
