Mike Curry began fishing professionally in 2000 and competes in over 25 professional-level tournaments each year, as well as numerous local tournaments throughout East Texas. He currently fishes FLW Stren Series – Texas Division, Texas Tournament Trail, Walmart BFL Cowboy Division, BASS Weekend Series and Bass N Bucks Team Tournaments.

Mike and his wife, Tammy, are presently building a home on beautiful Lake Sam Rayburn and plan to move there once completed, where Mike hopes to pursue his dream of fishing tournaments on a full time basis. Tammy is an accomplished angler herself and fishes with Mike during practice sessions and in local team tournaments.

Mike has been sponsored by Leadhead Lures since 2003 where he provides valuable input into lure design and marketing. His other sponsors include Ranger Boats, Terry’s Marine, Kicker Fish Bait Co., Watson Propellers and the Dejean Companies.

January 26, 2008: Mike Curry had a great Top 100 finish at the Bassmaster Weekend Series Texas Southeast Division 10 at Sam Rayburn.

January 9 - 12, 2008: Mike curry weighed in a respectable 36lbs 15oz at the FLW Stren Series Texas Division at Falcon Lake.
