Talon Series Lipstickers Custom Shakey Heads
TALON Series LIPSTICKERSTM improved custom shakey heads with tough powder coating feature blood red Mustad hooks, stainless steel springlock baitholder, and a stand up, vertical presentation.
Our Pro’s requested a better stand-up presentation than they were able to get with other shaky heads, so we opted for a perfectly round head and a 4/0, 900 Red Mustad Ultrapoint hook. Other expensive, flat bottom jigheads may look like they’d provide a great “stand-up” presentation—in a swimming pool or other flat, hard bottom. TALON Series LIPSTICKERSTM fall and land with the worm in a vertical position, and as the line is pulled and shaken, the 900 hook angle and round head maintain that upright position no matter what type of structure or cover the head contacts.
A custom, stainless steel Spring Lock Bait Keeper is cast directly into the head for easy, secure Texas-style rigging that works for a wide variety of plastics, even tiny diameter hand-poured finesse-style worms. The durable LIPSTICKERSTM Pro Spring Lock design puts an end to missed bites due to balled up worms and keeps plastic baits secure without messy glue or cored out worms. And, because the spring is flexible it does not interfere with the hookset.
TALON Series LIPSTICKERSTM are versatile and can be used just about anywhere, with either light tackle or baitcasting gear, with worms, grubs, even lizards! They work great for Largemouth, Smallmouth and Spotted Bass. Shake ’em deep or shallow, around docks, brushpiles, rocks, hydrilla breaks, cabbage grass, even lily pads. Just screw on a plastic bait of your choice, Texas rig the hook point, and Get Shaky With ItTM!
