This jig was named by Texas Fishing Forum member Slide_R. Gikou means "finesse" and Riki means "strength", which perfectly describes this heavy duty ball head "finesse" jig.

Anglers asked for a finesse-style jig designed for use with heavy tackle, and we've answered with this compact, ball head jig designed to perform in the most demanding conditions. There's no need to worry about bent hooks or limiting trailer size, the GikouRiki Heavy Duty Ball Head Jig sports a massive 5/0 heavy wire Mustad Ultrapoint black nickel hook. With a nearly 30% larger diameter than a light wire finesse hook, this guy means business!

The GikouRiki Heavy Duty Ball Head Jig also features a stout trailer keeper barb and a custom hand tied, wire wrapped skirt to help this little bass bully go where no jig has gone before. A heavy fiber weedguard and our own nearly indestructable Intellicoat^TM Super Durable Lure Coating completes the package of strength, durability and versatility.
