Big Dandy Custom Lake Fork Spoon, Delta Shad

I have a favorite honey hole. There's a place on my lake where a flowing creek comes into a large mud flat. Coming on into the lake from there, the mud flat narrows into a bottle neck where the depth changes abruptly from 5 to 10 feet. The dropoff has a clean mud bottom. The sonar almost always shows fish there from early spring all through fall, but I've shown them so many worms and jigs they've got lockjaw most of the time. Lot's of times, I can pull out the 5" Big Dandy spoon in Delta Shad and trigger one or two that the Texas Rig, shakey worm, dropshot, football jig, and crankbait won't get. Got a 5-pounder on it last month after pounding the dropoff with other stuff, and numerous other keepers at other times. If my spoon gets stuck, which it hasn't yet, I'm swimming for it.
